The family of Randy “Macho Man” Savage says there will not be a public funeral for the wrestling superstar.
Savage died Friday morning when his jeep veered off the road and into a tree in Pinellas County.
According to his brother, Lanny Poffo, Savage’s wishes were to not have a public funeral. Instead, Savage will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread around his favorite tree.
There will be a funeral service, but it will be small, and for family only, Poffo said.
